Vcore is at 1.5, vdimm at 2.7. I think it can go higher but I dont wanna fry my ram.

lol, don't worry - your RAM can do 2.9vdimm for looong periods of time(and probably more) without any damage.

No wonder you haven't been able to go higher! Crank it up to the highest you've got (although I wouldn't recommend much more than 2.9v, if you can go higher). Macci has been running his HyperX at 3.6v for months. :D

Crank up that vdimm and let's see this puppy roar!

And while you're at it, raise your vcore - I wouldn't go above 1.7v (and for that matter, 1.65) if you're worried about SNDS (which you should be), but I had no idea you were doing this on stock voltage. :eek:

Come on, crank up vdimm to 2.9v and set vcore to 1.55 or 1.6v and watch it soar! I knew there was something awry! :D

Alright I'll go to 2.9 but that being said, what could and should I increase? Leave the timings at 2.5-3-3-6 and raise the FSB? Would the extra vdimm allow me to raise the fsb?

Yes, the extra vdimm will sure as hell let you go higher. :) Also, the OCing symptoms you were describing are consistent with poorly volted RAM - instead of hitting a brick wall, you were getting poor stability for about 5mhz before you couldn't boot up.

If I were you, I'd switch back to CAS2 and see how high (FSB) you can get with that.

You also need to understand the higher the voltage on the vdimm the higher risk of failure :D

Macci is probably cooling his memory some way.. But I doubt with a prommie :D :D

Probably a nice tornado blowing over the ramsinks on his memory to keep it cool... Since at 2.9v they heatup rather nicely :D

no wonder your pc3500 cant do stock, the volt is too low. give it 2.9v for now. my corsair takes 3.15v just fine, but thats corsair for you. My friend says other brands of ram dont like past 3v if that.

Oh pfft, I ran my TwinX3200LL at 2.9v whenever I was benchmarking, with absolutely no cooling focused at them. :p
