Anyone having trouble sending in WU's? I haven't been able to send any in for a few days. :(
I had one a couple weeks ago that would try to send every few hours, every time came back "corrupted". This happened for maybe a week. Then, magically, it disappeared. I don't know if it submitted correctly or gave up, but it was weird.Quote:

Well, I'm finally back folding for the first time since Ivan hit Sept 16th. My cable internet just got hooked back up this morning.
imayoda, I saw yesterday that people are starting to return to Navarre Beach even though there's no sewer, water or power. How did you fare in the storm?
A couple of the servers are down. You can check your log file and see if they are trying to connect to the down systems. I have a couple that have been trying to get to 171.67.89.153 since yesterday.Quote:

I boarded up pretty well, so really the only damage I got was some water damage to the drywall in my garage. It's easily fixed and nothing to file a claim about. :D
Once the bridge gets repaired and the power, water and sewer get going again, I'll go home. :)

I don't know about the rest of you, but I hate getting these 151 pt Gromacs now. They're like the old sTinkers. I'd much rather get a 242pt Tinker than one of those. It takes several hours more time for my machines to run one of the lesser point Gromacs.
Of course, all of this is just team talk, because the cause is what matters. :o

Wow...been gone for a while. Good to see things are still happening here! I might not be posting, but I'm still folding away! :) Pushing 20k. SO CLOSE! :D

I like the 91pt gromacs too.
I have a 277pt one that's taken forever right now...totally has killed my average.:o
Building a computer for a friend w/ sempron 2500+. OUCH, Folds slow, very slow. Gramacs core P867, estimated points per week 283. I think something must be wron't with the motherboard cause it shows the temperature wrong in Sandra,and shuts down when playing games. Its a very cheap/basic board, so I ordered a new one off you guessed it, newegg.
Hmm. Almost at 100K!
I do not mind the 277's - what kills my averages are the 151's. If I get one of those on both of my folding machines - I drop low.

...I have a question
I run F@H on my parent's secretary's machine. It is win2k and uses a limited user. Folding will literally go to sleep (really!). I on the other hand do have admin priviligies
I have cofigured Folding on restricted users on other machines and the only thing I need to do is add Full Control (on security tabs) to the F@H folder on that user.
I don't know if its a win2k use problem or something with the program itself?
I ain't much (celeron tualatin 1.3Ghz) but every Mhz counts!
Update* I added -froceasm and it upped it to 525 points per week. Wooho. Totaly forgot about the flag.
The highest point amount I've had for a work unit is 320, running two right now.
What's the highest anyone else has had?
