You can't really say one company is beating another. AFAIK, both companies have the ability to push out 10GHz CPUs if they want to. It's just that their biggest concern is the CPU cooling and its cost, so there really isn't a competition... But video cards... I don't know about that

Yep, that happens sometimes. Once in a while, my cable speed seem to choke - I have a router downstairs. I'm connected to it via wireless USB dongle (I think that's what it's called, not sure though. :o Hey, I only use them, ya know....:o ) Most of the time, it's pretty fast.;) I've been sitting on my butt for quite awhile now, so I guess I wouldn't mind updating scores for SOME of you guys - but not too many.:p :DQuote:

Its not my network at home that's slowing my internet down... It's the community... I think the whole neighborhood uses cable and they're all students like me (mass DL) and its an 'internet rush hour' right now... draggin me down to like 30kb/s

I had the 1.7 when I benchmarked so many moons ago. :o I'm presently using the 1.9 w/o any problem, of course I haven't benchmark with it so I can't say. What's the matter with you? Asking me?! Of all ppl, me?!!:p In case it hasn't sunk in, I'm LAZY!:p :D :DQuote:

I`m getting so lazy, I might quit 3D Marking altogether. Edited to add: the fact that I can no longer afford too. So in my parting from 3D Marking, let me just say don`t let my attitude affect the rest you keep on Marking and getting them higher scores. No, I`m not frustrated, I`m just facing reality, where I live a lot of the people working in my area have lost their jobs and what do the stores do, instead of lowering prices they keep raising them, so I would rather eat then 3D Mark.Quote:
