Is it just me or does Jay Cuttler have a friggin cannon arm too? I've only seen him play a couple of games but it looked like the ball was going to blow a hole into a receiver.

Reading the analysis before the draft last year on Cutler, Vince Young, and Matt Leinhart, thats exactly what the scouting report said about Cutler... that he had the best arm of the three.Quote:

yea I'm not saying hes going to be the best of the 3, I just watched a couple of games and it seemed like he had a rocket arm.
Hilarious how this thread is more active than the NBA thread, even though there hasn't really been much going on in football except voluntary workouts, while we're in the middle of the NBA playoffs/finals. :D
The NHL thread made me LOL.
Yea... and I'm not saying that you did say Cutler was the best of the three.Quote:

I personally think that Leinhart is the best of the three.
Young I think is good, but he relies on his legs a lot... and I think that there is too much attention to that these days instead of one's ability to read a defense and make the correct decisions.
And in that light, I think that Leinhart is the best of the three. If Arizona gets some good blockers, and develops any kind of a D they may have a shot of getting out of annual crappiness.
heh.
They were just talking on the radio yesterday about how the Spurs are a dynasty and yet nobody wants to watch them. They are one of the more successful teams in NBA history? Yet the ratings are terrible.

There was a time when I would have said that about a lot of NFL teams.Quote:

Things change.
At this point, the biggest thing that needs to change in Arizona is the owner.
that goes double for detroit

Cinncinati used to be like that as well... year in and year out they were well below the cap and were awful. But it looks like they have had a change in philosophy... I think because the dad died.
But Detroit?
I'm at a loss... they seem willing to spend the money.
yep we have one of the nicest facilities in the whole NFL. Ford is not afraid to spend money. However, Ford is the guy who gave the GM with the worst record in the NFL a nice contract extension. Millen has been a disaster. Are we on track now? Maybe. But even in the remote chance that is true it took how many wasted draft picks, free agents, and coaches to get to this point? And this point isn't anything yet. We were 3-13 last year. The current regime has won three games.
I do feel like some good things are happening, but still... its been so bad here since Ford hired Millen. Before that we were actually a middle of the road type of team. Maybe squeak into the playoffs and lose in the wild card round sort of a team. Now we draft in the top 10 every year.
The fords are horrible, been destroying the lions for a long time..
Anyone remember ole wayne?
they run the team like they run the company...
