i thought the time left on this WU was a little odd.

i'm guessing something is fudged but I dont have anything running in the background....just the usual auto protect, zone alarm etc. No resource hogs.
p.s. Been folding since december non stop now :)
Let it run for a a few hours and I bet the time will report normal then.
phew! it fixed itself. Back down to about 45 mins per frame. Something must have been stealing all the CPU cycles from it

Im kinda pissed... i had a 250 a day average and was about to pass rautaruen, but now im loosing points on him, im having a reallllllly crappy week for this... only half of what i usualy get.

this is funny... i had another install on my other harddrive, that hadnt submitted any scores for along time, so yesterday i submitted 96 WU's
Your system does not appear to be stable. You are not completing entire WU's. There are no WU's with 1.2, or whatever, point values.Quote:

On another note...has anyone been having any issues with stability recently? My computer locked up three times in the past 24 hours and it's the first time it has done that in probably almost a year. I'm just trying to figure out what is causing this, and right now it looks like it could be F@H. Hopefully it isn't, but testing will continue and hopefully I can get it nailed down. Just decided to check with you guys to see if anyone else is having any issues.

I have had some issues with the graphical client since 5.0, but the console runs fine.
I'm still running the 3.25 client. This is the first time I've really had any problems with it. I remember well over a year ago there was a short time where some of the WU's had some thing wrong with them and under certain processors were causing lockups. But other then that, I really have had no problems.Quote:

There have always been problems with overclocked AXPs failing to finish WUs because of insufficient vCore, but I don't remember stories of F@h locking up the OS on any hardware or software platform...Quote:

Just broke 75k, but only have two machines folding (both with HT so 4 logical) and one that folds maybe 8 hours a day.. When I am not around :D
But damn, Extol blew pass me, with so few work units completed! God damn!
