Got my Paypal fixed and got the Witcher.
Thanks for the tell "you know who you are" ;)
I'm probably the only one who cares about this (since I work in advertising), but I really love the creative for the Steam Perils of Summer Sale.
Just thought I'd point them out. I figure that most of you can probably appreciate them:

The lines at the bottom with the in-game GUI influenced pictograms are awesome. As always, Valve delivers. Even with the little things. I wish more companies took this approach to advertising instead of all the seizure inducing Flash nonsense that is rich media. Maybe then I wouldn't feel it necessary to use AdBlock.
Unfortunately, I missed out on L4D2 because of a few problems I had on Saturday morning.
All I've picked up so far is Flotilla for $2.50, but I have a list of a few other games I'm going to grab on the last day; don't want to buy now just in case they go on a daily sale later, but most everything I'm looking at is not very well known anyway.
I might re buy Witcher just have it all updated through steam.
Yesterday's bottom line made me lol.

Man, aside from ghostbusters, the other game that I've been seeing on sale was/is Civ 4. I'm always tempted to buy it since it also runs on Mac, but when I read comments like this about the game, I just lose interest.
"And when you see archers able to defend cities vs tanks you know something is up with the game mechanics."
That would just anger me.
The new list of games is out for sale. I'm not crazy about any of those games. I never liked Tell Tale's version of the classics. It's just not as clever and the logic with the puzzles is all over the place.
New deals are up and I do believe my wallet is safe today. Was tempted to get the Tales of Monkey Island pack but I already bought it from Telltales website and $12 is just a bit too much just to have it on Steam.
Yeah, nothing that great today. Abe's Oddworld isn't bad, but practically everyone has played that. Operation Flashpoint is good at that price. It is very realistic (one shot kill usually) and tactical. It can be fun for the people that like the original Rainbow Six.
Weak sale day.
Yes those ads are definitely good, I agree its a pleasant change from all the flash and bright blinking ads of most other companies.
Oddworld pack is pretty decent for $2.50 I'll probably pick it up. I remember playing the original way back in the day on I think it was Sega Genesis, but its been so long I could be wrong on that. I do remember it was fairly fun and had some good humor in it, probably worth the $2.50 for the 2 games I'm guessing.
^^^I think it first came out on the original Playstation.
EDIT: just looked it up on wiki, says PSone and Windows.
King Arthur is good for a total war type game with some fantasy elements
Posted to wrong thread.
New deals are up. Rehash from last Christmas.
