They've also eliminated the dropped passes that seemed to be plaguing the offense...and I don't know why it is, but the offense seems better without Shockey.

I kept looking for any recent quote from Tiki. Anything he can say will be very interesting. Go ahead and tear into your old team now. I laugh at it now.
What a great weekend of football. So sad it is almost over for the season. Just two more games. We know the AFC will win the superbowl. Best game left is the afc championship. I wonder how many will root for the chargers to win?

In fact, I'm kind of rooting for them. This is history right here. Who knows when the next undefeated super bowl champs (just saying if they DO win) will appear? 25-30 years? Who knows? It's an historic accomplishment if they do make it and it'll be a fun to be able to say you kept up with the season the whole way in 20 years, or however long, down the road when another team manages to pull it off, if anyone does.
I agree, though I wanted jax to win just cause they played their hearts out and I'm a huge david garrard fan, I also would like to see GB win it just cause Farve is my favorite player in the league. But if NE does end up winning it I will enjoy it just cause they are such an awesome team.Quote:

This year, though, they just stopped being interesting. They added a ton of talent and were all of a sudden a lot better, and barring injuries they're not going to lose, but it stopped being clever. I don't dislike them, but there's nothing inherently dramatic about watching the Pats dismember another team with Randy Moss and Tom Brady; it was way more fun when they were doing it with Troy Brown playing cornerback.
I also think that it's possible the rest of the country is just getting sick of the entire Boston area dominating professional sports.
Basketball is only recently though, but yea I guess they have some good teams over there. Detroit might be the best sports town (as far as having the most elite teams in the major 4 sports) if it weren't for the Lions.Quote:

Yeah, but Red Sox Nation is starting to get a little out of hand. We need someone like Oakland to come along and put them back in their place.Quote:

So now you have all these overpaid prima donnas pumping themselves full of drugs trying to score that big payday. Baseball is dead, as a game.
I'd love to see GB go all the way now. They pummeled my team to get here, and it's probably Favre's last ride, so...
I'd like to see them lose next Sunday. I don't think i will see that, but that's what I'd like to see
But then youd have to watch the G-men get romped in the Super Bowl.Quote:

The Giants sure played the Patriots awfully close in a game that meant nothing to either team. That might not be a bad Super Bowl, really.
Chargers over Patriots. You heard it here first :p
Interesting. But with a gimpy Rivers and some other injuries on the team, I'm not sure unless the defense can force some turnovers and limit time of possession. The Giants Vs. Packers should be a fun game with the Packers winning. I can't go against Favre again.Quote:

When the Yankees were winning World Series, they were developing just as much talent as the Sox are now. The advantage both have is that they had/have the money to keep all those guys instead of having to watch them leave, like, say, the A's do on a yearly basis. Now, Boston is starting to buy players on a more consistent basis.Quote:
