Try lowering your overclock enough so that you can run your memory timings at 11 2 2 2 and see what you get then. My highest 3D Mark score that was close to yours with my 4200(running at 306/635) was got with a fsb of 172 and my memory(crucial PC2100) running at 7222(turbo) in dual channel mode.

khx3200 or mushkin lvl2 3200? what about getting that bufallo tech 4200 cas2.5 and just shooting for high FSB on loose timings? is the hyperx definantly bh-5? i don't want to buy it and then have it be another stick of this ch-5 like my current hyperx is.

KHX3200 is BH-5. KHX3200A is CH-5. Definately go with low-rated BH-5 over high rated Hynix.

ok, though i may get 512mb... when i bench with one 256mb stick my score goes down by almost 150points...

Very nice! Congrats on #1, now you should save that 150 just in case you keel off your mobo when vmodding ;) If you mod successful and your ram still sucks, then time for another stick of ram :) If not, just save it.

i tried to get a little more but there's nothing in it. i can get .5-1 more fps in lobby low, so 23850 is probably my biggest possible score with my system as it is.

I don't think that's such a good idea, if I set my RAM to cas2, it'll hate dividers, higher vcore voltages, plus many many other stuff. Besides, I don't think 165MHz at 2-2-2-11 can yield extra performance especially when I need 15.5 multiplier to make up for my 2.5GHz, changing multiplier is also something that my RAM hates when it's at cas2 :( I might just stick to software tweaking and other small stuff

why not pick up a stick of buffalo tech 3200 ch-5 for less than $50?

wow, no cheap ram in canada, that sucks. ebay is always an option, though... i once got 10 80mm case fans from ebay for $6. I guess you could always have someone in the states get the ram and ship it to you.

well depends what RAM I'm getting... Right now the best RAM for the best price is KHX3200 512mb for $155 CDN, but then its weird cuz the model number is khx3200/512 but they showed the timings as 2-3-2 which... you know, doesn't look right. I'm seriously low on money, even $50 seems a lot to me now :o

edit: ooo I guess I don't need new RAM for 15k :) Just switched over from 40.72 to omega 43.45 and it gave me another 100 marks when vid card is at stock speeds :D
