You must not be a very stout football fan if you think that was a gift...or 3 gifts for that matter. It's called putting pressure on the QB making him throw earlier or more errantly then normal.Quote:

Two brothers playing in back to back Super Bowls. I wonder how many times two brothers have even played in a Super Bowl? All I can think of is Tiki and Ronde Barber.
::edit::
And isn't that three road games in a row for the Giants? Damn.
SUPERBOWL BOUND!!!!!!!!!
Unfrickenbelieveble
Not suprised tho. Packers played like **** all nite long. Gave up way to many long passes to Burress, too many penalties (4 in like 2 mins? ***?), and gave up big runs when they couldnt afford too. 2 missed field goals was God giving them another shot but they blew it. Cant believe their O coordinator had Favre slinging so many shoddy passes around. It was a bad night for the Pack to revert to last years team.
Well guess I have SB Sunday free now. Can take advantage of empty stores or watch a good movie. I really wanted to see what the Pack could do against the Pats but now we gotta watch the Pats rape the Giants and be the talk of the sports media for another month.

Well in all fairness, the 2nd miss was a real bad snap.
To my fellow new yorkers all i have to say is ny strikes back :D
I don't really care too much for the Giants, but I will be rooting FOR them in the SB. It'll be deja vu all over for them since they just played each other like 4 weeks ago.
Well, the Giants have surprised me for three weeks in a row.
I thought that they had a chance against TB... until the 1st half ended. Never thought that they stood a chance against Dallas. Never thought that they stood a chance against GB. They have surprised me all three times.
But I don't think that they stand a chance against NE. The only way that NE loses is if they have an off day... and the Giants play out of their minds.
And to the GB fan that I was talking with earlier today... I guess we don't have to worry about how GB matches up against NE either now do we? They couldn't even beat the Giants at home. Where was this devestating offense of GB's? Crap... they couldn't even run the ball properly (and yet in tough conditions, the Giants could).
They didn't play all that well. Plain and simple. In weather conditions like this, extending that TD drive twice on 3rd down because of penalties is just plain stupid. The Giants didn't run all that great either...they just did better than GB. 20 points in those conditions isn't too bad. We got outplayed, hats off to the giants. Hopefully the Giants can knock off the Pats. I have to say though, with the way you worded that you'd have thunk the Giants won by 30, not 3. It's a classic case of the team that plays better wins, not always the best team.Quote:

So how many people saw FOX pan over to the three girls in bikinis at the Green Bay game????
I'm guessing roughly "all".
The Giants are playing good football when it counts AND Eli Manning is really making good plays.
How so?Quote:

One would be left with the impression from YOUR words that it was the Pack... not the Pats who broke a bunch of records this year.
And one area of particular interest to me was the difference in the running games... Grant had like what... 28 yeards rushing?!? You oversold... not me...
Compare that with my words...
All on the Pack's home turf mind you...Quote:

It's not even like I disagreed with your *entire* assessment of GB... just that you completely oversold them.
That I can agree with.Quote:
