Very nice :)
Heres the new database website ---> www.irydium.com/3dmark Note: I only have the main web page up. I just wanted to make sure everything was running smoothly. Tommorow I'll transfer all other files, after that I begin changing the layout of the webpage.
Remember this is only possible because of vertices.
so Pyro , we all change the Angelfire url in our sigs to this one .. it is the permenant url now?
Hey guys, check the other thread, name is changing to www.irydium.net/3dmark instead. It's gonna be professionally hosted.:) So it's NET, not COM.
It will be live sometime today!:)
Sweet!! Although I am not on the team at all, it is nice to see the page get away from that ghetto azz Angelfire stuff. :)Quote:

Awesome :D
Domain is up and running, just waiting for DNS to propagate.:)
Nice score Colossus AND Opstar!!!
My abit will be here today around 3:00pm. Will I be first shark to 18K, 19K, 20K, AND 21K ?!? Lets hope so!:D
Linkie No worky
Spawn_Mild, yes that will be the new Sharky 3dmark Team database.

Looks like I'll need to be doing alittle updating tonight. :)
Pyro check your PM, you got about 4 zillion of them. :)
Link does not work yet because the DNS servers in the internet are not updated yet. This can take up to 24 hours.
Everyone will be able to see it by tomorrow.:)
Very nice!
Now that I am awake after a few hours of sleep... Blah I dont like to sleep!
I can get back to work... Lets see what this puppy can do... Im at 194xx and 62xx time to open her up.. I want 20K on air!!!!
Then add my pelt and see what the difference is :)
What was the max you had on air there vertices??? without any mods :)
I do admit I love the 9800Pro much more then the 9700Pro... Well the main reason is that it overclocks nicely and the other thing is that the heatsink can be removed with ease... Not like the older 9700... And there is no shim!!!!
They must be learning :) :)
I can't remember exactly but I know it did at least 440 no mods. Just adding cooling got me to 475. Adding a volt mod got me to 515.
It's good to be #1 in your CPU class. I am #1 for all CPUs from 3Ghz to 3.45Ghz on 2001. #1 for all CPUs from 3Ghz to 3.35Ghz on 2003. :)
Well I tried 450 @ stock... And the temp wasnt that bad... About 100f until you hit the nature test in 2003... Man that sucker jumped to 113f :) :)
So anyway... What about the mem???
Also when I tried 450 I got little white dots.. But its not artifacts... I dont think it is heat related... So I would assume its lack of voltage related????
Also am I correct for assuming that the 9800Pro vmod is the same as the 9700???
I get the "white dots" when OCing the core too much. I begin seeing minute traces of the dots at 485-490. They are pretty apparent at 515. Keep in mind, this is with the volt mod.
People have said the mods are the same but they seem very different to me. Also this pic courtesy of macci proves it. This is not what I did to mod my 9700.

I used the above pic for my 9800 and modded the Vcore. VDD is next.:)
My mem does 365 with zero artifacts. 371 where I normally bench has mild artifacts. This is the same as stock as I have not modified the mem yet.
That is much different then the 9700Pro... It does look harder though... When I bench below 450 I dont get a single artifact.. But once I hit 450 and above it would be there.. Mostly in 2003 and the nature test.. Its in the water ROFL
I am going to try a higher mem overclock now.. Since I am only at 344 or so :)
Abit IC7-G in hand. :)
Hooked it up real quick to make sure it booted then unhooked it to give the backside a bath in Liquid conformal coating.
Hopefully I'll have some benches later. Waiting for it to dry now.:)
Good luck and have fun. :) You think 21K is possible?
I dont think he will hit 21K :(
Not unless you overclock that card or cpu more :)
It might give you a slight boost in 2k1.. I got under 400 points for it...
But i dont know what your memory timings were at before..
Also I hope you like 1:1 mem timing :)
Those Canterwood/Springdale I have read and experienced hates anything above 1:1 when overclocking :)
Theres really no reason to ever run higher than 1:1. 4:5 doesn't really do anything and may hamper performance anyway. Bus is saturated with 1:1.
Serillel is a piece of $hit. I tried for the last 2 hours to get it working. Tried RAID, no RAID, different drives, different adaptors, different drive configs, you name it, I tried it. Could not get it to recognize 1 drive.
So now I'm just using IDE 1 and 2. No RAID for me:(
OCing looks good so far. I got Vcore adjustable up to 1.9. Vagp to 1.7 and Vdimm to 2.8
I booted at my old OC already. I like it so far. Installing windows now. Just started.
I will hit 21K!:)
I wish you plenty of luck!!! I am glad your board has the extra vcore :) dont forget to post pics when you assembled it like i did :)
Also what is a serillel?
YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
I'll post some pics soon. Although my neat and tidy wiring lost a bit of its "tidiness" with this install. heh heh
Serillel is Abits adaptors to let you run a regular IDE hard drive on a SATA port. I couldn't get it to function at all.:(
www.irydium.net/3dmark is LIVE!!!!!:):)
Maybe he meant Serial ATA.
Serillel = Serial
Hmmmm.... ;) :D
EDIT: Nevermind I see.
Woohoo, the site is up!!!! :D
Pyro, serillel is abits adaptors. You got PM!!!
hahaha, Well why would you??? Its not like your drive will be any faster.. If anything it was slower according to toms...
But it would also require a F6 driver disk to even reconize the drive to install Windows on :)
Yes it does require a disk. I have one. Thats not the problem. The problem is the board wont recognize the drive. RAID setup says I have no drives. Apparently I'm not the only having the problem either.:(Quote:

The reason being is that the Abit RAID is only SATA not IDE. I only have 2 IDE ports. I wanted to only have 1 optical drive on each port and then use the SATA for my HDs.
