... is anybody else hooked to these sales like I am, and watching their computer at 1:00pm Eastern every day to see what the new deals are?
It's sick.

I might get osmosis, but the others are eh.
Money is safe today, thats for sure.
I am passing on gta 4 because the first thread in the steam forum is a mile long on how to get it to run...doesn't look good. Crap deals today maybe tomorrow borderlands will be the deal
I passed on King Arthur hoping that Empire goes on ad, gonna be mad as hell if it never does.
Bah...TF2 has already been offered for cheaper in the past. **** deals IMNO
I started playing it and didn't have to do any of that. You can't max it out (which is probably half the problem with those noobs on the support forums, "OMG can't max this out but can max Oblivion ***?!?!"), but even on low settings it looks better than the console versions.
I say go for it, it is great especially when you can switch between 360 controller for driving and walking around and using the KB/M for shooting :)
Yeah kind of bland deals today, I picked up TF2 when it was $2.49 and I already have Osmos which I also got on sale pretty cheap.
Oh well, plenty of games to tide me over until I see what tomorrow's steam sale brings :p
I got the Commandos pack. Figured for $3.75 I might get around to them.............eventually.
Picked up the Xcom pack finally. Installed the original and starting downloading. Looked away for a second and it was done. Only 16.5mb. For the whole game.
Here's to another day I'll be waiting at the computer at 12pm, as if these games will sell out.

The game is CPU heavy. Most newb PC gamers only focus on the GPU, which gets them by with most games. However, when they hit a game like GTA4 it cripples their system. That is what happens when you buy a 75 dollar AMD processor and then put a 5870 in there. Sure Oblivion and CoD4 run fine, but Crysis and GTA4 cripple it.
I run it on decent setting with my setup, but the game really cries out for a quad core from what I have read.
Looks like I'm going to get Flatout Ultimate Carnage (those games are just plain fun) and am looking into Red Faction.
I'm thinking Torchlight (this is the cheapest I've ever seen it), Red Faction, and Flatout. I'll go to work first and ponder again when I get home. LoL
Oh nice..... Red faction for five bucks
Is it coop?
I loved the first Guild game. Guild 2 got some mediocre reviews (low 60s), but it has been patched quite a bit. Maybe for $6 I should just give it a go.
