thanks, i never even noticed those two options before. i can't get it to work, however. the computer it's running on is 192.168.0.104, and i have forwarded port 2105 to that machine through my router. still no stats, however.Quote:

i have my webserver on x.x.x.105:2001 for testing, and that works fine.Code:Action......Name..........Source.........Destination..........Protocol
Allow.......fahstats........*,*........*,192.168.0.104........TCP,2105
what am i doing wrong?
> make that port 2501 - same result.
Don`t worry about it, I`m sure they will notice you when you fly by them. :) BTW, congrats on reaching 10K.Quote:

Guys yesterday I LOST a spot (went from 54 to 55) that's good, because I'm doing 24/7 folding, it means a lot of you are also doing it as well, even moreso then I am :) I'm going to get my pc downstairs folding as well.
Smythe, I'm sorry I missed you:( Shame on me:eek: BUT congrats to you!!!!!:D
I know what you mean. I went from about number 16 to 27 in just a couple weeks. I dropped pretty fast because neither of my computers was folding during that time, but everyone who jumped me is outproducing my ~3.8GHz of Intel anyway. Keep up the good work, everyone.Quote:

I noticed that colossus.no-ip.info:2501 will not display properly unless I complete the address... as http://colossus.no-ip.info:2501
Without the http:// it wont work... Its quite odd...
Well...just added the P3 500 downstairs, so now I have 3.612 ghz folding for me :) That comp stays on 24/7 as well.
i did use the full url. i even tried connecting directly through the router -- http://192.168.0.104:2501 -- it still doesn't work, but my web server and ftpd do work connecting that way. maybe it's something to do with fahstats and win98? otherwise i feel like i must be overlooking something really dumb. :pQuote:

Odd... I assume you enabled the two options in settings to enable the WebGen and http?Quote:

There should be a webstats directory in the FAH folder... Load the index and see if it displays your stats...
Well, I'll be taking down both my rigs Tues. or Wed. next week. Upgrading my Server from 2000+ to 2500+ Barton, NF7 mobo, and some 2-2-2-6 PC2700 memory. However, I'll also be adding a third rig, the old 2000+/KR7A-133R/PC2100. The more the merrier :D Conquer On!
CONGRATS ON YOUR 10K TOO :)Quote:

my web server is a different machine than the one that has fahstats. i tried it anyway -- it loads the frames, but not the data ("Not Found" error, obviously, as it's on a different machine :p). but it's not really a big deal for me now -- let me try a few things and get back to you. i've got some hardware issues, and i'm also trying to learn about permissions and folder access, etc. for my ftp server, and i feel like i'm doing about 12 different things at once. :p thx.Quote:

Did you try to update the Protein Data? There is a update button in the 2nd task bar item under settings...
But if you copy all the contents of that webstats directory to your webserver.. It will display all the stats :) Doesnt matter if the data is on another machine...
I did it with my ISP... But its only as current as the last upload..
