I TOTALLY don't think so.

This year was a total anomolly... a team with a bad run D winning the SB.

It was a freak occurence that they even won last year with such a bad run D.

And if anything, they got even worse by losing Cato June.

I had the impression that June wasn't much of a run stopper anyway.

I think he was the Will backer no?

Not usually well reknown as a run stopping position.

But he certainly was not reknown as a blitzer either. Which makes me wonder... why exactly was he voted to the Pro Bowl? As a coverage linebacker? And even if so... he doesn't even strike me as being as good in this area as say Derrick Brooks or William Thomas used to be.

Well... shows how much I know.

He led the Colts with tackles with 142.

Still... don't know if that qualifies him as a good "run stopper"... if those tackles are occuring more downfield.

Calvin Johnson signed. Did I tell anyone we're winning the NFC North this year? Chicago who?

Ya the colts run d sucked last season, but they stepped up when it was important, in the playoffs. It's an issue, but after the turn around they made last season it's not that big of a factor.

I don't think Chicago is gonna win near as many games as last year. Seahawks, Saints and Eagles in the NFC this year.

I agree the Bears were a lot less scary by playoff time last year. Grossman is a buffoon but it's the D that keeps them afloat.

I'd love to see the Lions take it to them this year, since the Vikings and Pack will probably still be a joke.
