Just look at how long it takes to fold a step then take the number of steps and you get a general idea of how long the unit should take. The system that completes it's unit in a reduced amount of time is the one dropping them.

Okay. Do all 500's take the same amount of time? (And 2500's same as other 2500's, etc.) Or can a 500 vary from another 500?Quote:

Right now I'm getting 1% done on a 500 every 4 minutes, pretty much exactly 4 minutes. So it should take me a little over 6 and a half hours for this one, right?
No; units vary, but 4 minutes a percent or 400 minutes for that unit is the number you want to watch.Quote:

Ok, I will keep an eye on it.Quote:

So if they vary, it is possible that I got bombarded with small units, just not likely, correct?
No, you could get a string of low score units, but the score to unit ratio would still be close the the peeps near you on the team. The way the scores are set up, long units score higher than short units. I think that you are getting little or no score on some of yours. Looks to me like you could get a good score gain if you run this to ground and fix it. Saps just added a little vcore to his and it was stable again.
Okay. I will keep a very close eye on my log files, and see what's going on here.Quote:

KaoTik and everyone if you have multiple systems folding just check your log file on each of them. When a WU finishes you must see a message like this:

What up guys? I've folded about 27,000 points for XS and 2,000 for the hard.
I don't have as many systems folding anymore but I just changed my team to 34149!!:)
I've got 2 systems on it now and will add 2 more shortly.:)
hey vertices! thanks for joining the sharky team! (and for everyone else since i last welcome people -- sorry if i didn't get your name personally...:)) we are really moving a long here...that is awesome. and i say "why not?" to a little in-team competition! hehehe...i must check my score about 50 times a day just to see what my score is compared to everyone elses on the team!! :D this is way to much fun...

A mighty friend, good, very good. 4 more rigs. :D I'm telling you I look at our recent production and we're already as good as half of the teams #100-200. No doubt as we continue to grow we could match the pace of some of those #50-100 teams. I set a challenge for us to make the top 250 by years end. Currently that's around 70K points and will likely be closer to 80K by years end but I believe we can do it.Quote:

BTW, I was propositioned by KaoTik with the idea of awarding custom avatar's to Folding Team Members. I have shared the idea with Catalyst who has yet to decide.
My main computer's log file is fine, and all of the rest of the computers are barely even overclocked. Except a 2100+ at like 2.3GHz and a 1700+ at 2.3GHz. Both are 100% stable and the 1700+ just started yesterday. The 2100+ is my old processor and it was stable up to 2.43GHz.Quote:

That's a lot of log files, but how could computers that are barely overclocked be so unstable? The only one I can see being even remotely unstable is the 1700+, which, as I said, just started yesterday. Damnit. :(
yup yup! i've been watching you pretty closely! (and i'm still winning!) :D :p :pQuote:
