excellent job man. i'm still going to see if i can get this thing to 2.6 on air. not sure if it will go...and i'm definitely going to have to wait for winter...but i'm going to try anyway! :)

Finally got around to testing the CAT3.7 vs 3.6 and I got ~250 point increase. I went from ~16900 to ~17150. That's 3.0G on the CPU and no o/c on the video card. (what I run day to day)

Any chance you could do 3.2 vs 3.7? :)

The video card fried on my when I wasnt watching it during 2003 benchmarking.. The sucker was pure artifact (mostly memory type) and I was already at the nature section, so I knew I only had a little left before a score.. Well I never did get to see the score :(

I have the card on the wall in my office... Along with some other hardware :)

Well I got the new MB, 5900U and the PC4000 working there are no more yellow question mark in the devise manager. there was something wrong with that other MB from day one. now I will have to see what this can really do. :):) :) :D :D (grinning in hopes of a higher score). Looks like the Dark Side is too strong for me :( , when I get back (and hopefully, I'll have my CoreCenter CD by then) I stick my 9800Pro in my Intel rig and try for 21k - Damn you Intel dogs!:p :D Guess AMD has just lost one of its knights....must try to resist when I'm back. :D

Whats to resist you have gone as far as you can go with your AMD system and looking at the Intel system and wondering how much higher you can go with it. It will be on your mind until you do it and so do it and get it over with. :D

there would be more AMD's in the top 10 if the people who can afford 9800pro's would buy the AMD chips, but nooo, everyone goes P4 and breaks 21k the easy way... chickens. :D I'll break 21k someday, but as long as AMD is competitive, i will never use an Intel.

I'm a fully trained Je....umm...proponent of AMD, why do you think I've resisted so long? (Well, actually there's the missing CoreCenter CD to consider :o but that's besides the point). Perhaps, I should push my AMD rig to the max and go for broke:eek: like the C man said. IF I fry my 2800+ Barton, it would gimme an excuse to upgrade cpu, what do you recommend? A 3200+ Barton?! HeHeHe!:p :D
