I got upset because my P3 500Mhz box was folding and made it through 90% on a 60 point tinker.. And I rebooted the box and it started at ZERO.. I was like... NO WAY...
So I deleted the core and downloaded a new one :)

Its not, I have gotten WU`s that give my computer a hard freeze, even when running at stock speeds and I tried running it without the SSE boost and it done the same thing, I think there are just some bad WU`s out there.Quote:

There are some units that will die on AMD systems. And if you reload the unit, it is reported that it will die again in the exact same place.
My main rig has run over 150 WU`s in a row, wihout a problem and once I found out the problem with my 1600+ which had nothing to do with the WU`s I have not had a problen yet. I did get one WU` that stopped and said it could not continue, but I`ve had a lot more of the same ones and had no problem running them at all.Quote:

I have lock ups several times a week on my three AMD systems (only one O/C'd) -- on the 11 Intel machines I've got folding, I've never had a problem with a single WU. Good to hear that they're working on a solution.Quote:

Sorry for being a little off topic. Cancer hit my family this week as my grandfather past away on Tuesday and we had the funeral today :( Hopefully folding will help someone in the future so they do not have to suffer the same fate.

About this AMD systems having problems...:confused: Very strange....

Sooo, what's the deal with the Tinker toys now, I haven't had time to keep up with forum lately, so sorry in advance if this has already been discussed in this monster.
I noticed I got a 71 point, time eating tinker yesterday. Is F@H forcing them now because no one is running them voluntarily. It looks like all my tags are still correct. What's up with this?
