OK thanks Lone, yeah never done before so any tips will help, i'll go get one of those programs and check it out.
ok i got rivatuner and yes i wanna OC the 8500.
Well, the best thing to do is start a thread and ask for help OCing your 8500, you will get a lot more help and instructions on how to do it that way, BTW, besure to download 3D Mark 2001SE build 330 here www.futuremark.com/download you will need it to check and besure that you don`t OC it too far, by watching for artifacts and snow and any abnormality. Good LuckQuote:

Well, guys, I`m taking a vacation away from the forums for a while, I will return when I have done some catching up on a few things like playing games and reading some good books. I hope to have a good 3D Mark score to submit when I do.;)
heh enjoy the vacation. im gonna miss ya but when you return, I should be over 17k easy if nothing dies ;)
Take it easy pal. :) Enjoy your other activities - take some time off to smell the roses, so to say.;) My A64 should be done by tomorrow and I might take a few days off to stabilise and benchmark it.:DQuote:

mikeysg, what's your stock 3DM 01 score after the 5950 flash?
Ok, I ran 3dmark03 and here are my results:
CPU: Intel Pentium 4C w/ HT
Stock Speed of CPU: 2.4Ghz (12x200)
Overclocked Speed of CPU: 3.55Ghz (12x296)
Motherboard: Abit IC7 rev 1.0 BIOS 21
RAM: 2x512MB Mushkin PC3500 @ 197Mhz (2.5-2-2-5) 2.8v

Actual Mem of Video: 320Mhz
Cooling Used: Thermalright SP-94 w/ 92mm Panaflo (CPU)
Zalman zm80c-hp w/ 80mm YS-Tech adjustable (GPU)
Score: 5881
Also, nothing major, but my RAM timings on the site are listed as
2.5-3-3-5 instead of 2.5-2-2-5. Perhaps this could be fixed when updating my 2k3 score?
