I'm trying to figure out the ram timing in bios, too many numbers! :eek: I'll run the test afetr I've gotten everything to run stably, it'll prolly be at stock speed coz I ain't in the mood to OC, but then, am I ever in the mood in the 1st place?:p :DQuote:

Also, nothing major, but my RAM timings on the site are listed as
2.5-3-3-5 instead of 2.5-2-2-5. Perhaps this could be fixed when updating my 2k3 score?
OK, I ran 3DMark01 b330 at totally stock speed - mem by spd, VC at stock 5950U speed, cpu at default. Score's 17571 which is what I had expected.;) Didin't adjust mem timing coz I'm kinda lost....:o :D

not bad, just built a 3400/K8NPro/9800pro/OCZ3200 system for someone today it did 20.3k stock. i'm guessing the video card is keeping you from a higher score.Quote:

Yeah, I'm just having fun with the '5950U', it isn't bad at all. ;) Eshbach, I have Kingston HyperX PC3500 CL2 and I wanna push the ram timing a lil, but I have no idea at all about RAS#, CAS#, RAS/CAS precharge and whatnot.:o Makes me wish for the good 'ole' days of NF2 mobos.:p Can you PM me about this? Hmm, I raised my fsb to 208x10=2080mhz at default voltage and my VC to 480mhz/967mhz, new 01 score's 18202, here's the link:

I'll gladly update your score dude, but I need full specs from you. Just scroll up to Smythe's post of his specs, I'll update as soon as I see it. ;) Not trying to be particular here, just need all the necessary info for a clean update.;) :) I notice that you have you FSB at 166, why not lower your multi to 10.5 and your FSB to 200, 10.5x200=2100mhz. At this speed your score should improve, looking at your specs, you shouldn't have a problem running at 200mhz FSB.Quote:

I believe my ram can do it but I'm concern about AGP/PCI bus speed. :eek: I know SATA HDD don't like PCI at 72/73 range......least, that's what I'd heard.:DQuote:

ah, the ram divider explains your lobby score. go for a higher FSB to get the CPU and RAM speeds up there. you could try something like 325x8 3:2, or 300x8.5 5:4, if your RAM can do that. You just need to find your sweet spot and then you're looking at 26.5k+Quote:

I did hear theres a special hdd controller card that can take 66MHz pci speeds. 333/6 is 55.5 so yea it could work. but other than that its a no go. may be easier to run 5:4 at below 300fsb and lower the multi of cpu
no, you don't need a special hard drive controller to do it on the AN50R, i'm using regular IDE hard drives on the onboard controller and i have a sound card in. everything works perfectly at 333FSB and clockgen reports the PCI frequency as 33.68mhz.Quote:

i've been thinking the same thing. apparently some other people at xs thought so too when they were getting 300+FSB on K8Ns, AN50Rs, and other good nForce3 boards, but all tests say it isn't locked. beats me, but i don't really care as long as it works.Quote:
