It's gonna be a long season for us both. My hometown is STL so I watch Rams.
Who's gonna win more games this season...Raiders or Rams? Atleast the Raiders try to rebuild and have some star players The Rams have a dumbass head coach that should have been fired mid-way last season and is now going on his 3rd loosing season. No wonder the Rams are forsale.
I already dumped him. I already had Rob Bironas but I was sketchy about his foot and I thought the Lions would kill the Falcons. But I'm just going to stick with Bironas from here on out.Quote:

So guys I think the Raiders are as good as you said. Hahahaha *****es.
The guys on espn were so solemn with brady getting hurt, you'd think the guy died.
I'm happy with the giants d, winning opening day is huge.

Screw the whole team.
Well Belacheat will have his empire come crashing down on him in due time.Quote:

The suspecting that NE was cheating isn't even new...Quote:

I have three teams that I cheer for and all three lost.
Miami made it close and I still maintain that Pennington was a welcome addition to the team. I didn't see any of the games but it looked like Pennington did pretty good... on a horrific team.
It looks to me like the Raiders D let them down. Russell had decent stats... especially for a 2nd year QB... as did their running game (split between two backs). I suspected that the Raiders would have trouble against the run... but I didn't expect Cutler to throw for almost 300 yards on them.
Alright, give me opinions:
Someone offered me Moss, Hines Ward and some no-name TE for Wes Welker and Antonio Gates... and I accepted (and promptly picked up the Seattle TE for this week instead since all their receivers are busted up).
Reasoning: Brady being gone will hurt all the receivers. Post-Brady, Moss still had 60 yards and a TD, so Cassel will throw to him. Hines Ward makes an excellent FLEX WR/RB that I desperately needed.
I figure I swapped a 3rd and 8th rounder for a 1st and 5th rounder.
Anybody think I made a mistake?
I like that trade, you traded up and got moss, and hines is about equal or only slightly less productive than gates. Maybe he is assuming welker will get more receptions than randy since Cassel is in and he's usually the guy waiting under coverage for a short pass
Go Cowboys!
Even for people that don't like football because it is "too boring", last nights game was ****ing great. Almost 80 combined points, thats the kind of **** I like to see on prime time TV. Too bad the Cowboys defense sucks!
2-0 fantasy football baby!
Who do you guys think I should start next week?
Reggie Bush againt Denver
or
Darren McFadden against Buffalo
What a fun game last night. Are they that good at Offense or just bad D? Was a fun game. And the broncos game was a blast. Unfortunately, the chargers will play inspired against the Raiders. Does Al wait until the bye to fire Kiffin? What are the over/under guys?
1-1 for me, thankfully I got a W this week.
Anubody want to do the spread thingy that we did last year?
I'd get the ball rolling... but my organizational skillz suck!
(waits for someone else to pickup the ball)
One observation:
Rogers is doing a lot better THUS FAR than I thought that he would.
And I can't believe how bad the league sucked with the blown calls in the Broncos-Chargers game. Broncos should have lost that game. This was the exact type thing that instant replay (which I still really support) was supposed to keep from happening.
Witht that 1st blown call, the refs SERIOUSLY could not have looked at what the networks had recorded like everybody else in the country had seen?!?
I was waiting for someone to start up the Sharkys pick em again.
The Broncos game was so fun to watch. I was on the edge of my couch/standing up either extremely angry or jumping for joy. I thought for SURE that fumble thing was going to go SD's way and almost turned the TV off lol. Then that 2 point conversion was crazy! I can't believe what happened but its frikkin awesome!
Does Bush even run the ball anymore? I listened to the NO/Wash game on Westwood this weekend and barely heard his name called.Quote:

I really wish another team would have drafted him - Oakland is such a crappy place to play ball. Still can't argue with what he did this weekend. He's a damn fine running back.
as a dallas resident/fan, 2 things i got out of this last game
1. thank god we drafted felix jones... alot of people were second guessing him since he was just a backup and went first round as a backup for marion barber. this kid is ridiculous. 1st carry of his career was a touchdown and a freaking 98 yard punt return in his second game (first MNF game). i can believe that arkansas had both him and mcfadden at the same position.
2. the best player at his position bar none is nick folk. he definately does not get the attention that he deserves. he is easily the most consistent player on the cowboys and he is one of the few players that i feel totally confident with the ball no matter the situation, trailed by jason witten. with most kickers, you have a shot at the 20-30yd line.. with nick folk, its like we have at least a guaranteed 3pts as long as you are at the 50 or better.
Felix Jones is ****ing awesome. I too am glad we got him. Hope to see him and Marion split the load more effectively that Jones did last year.
Jones and McFadden are what made Arkansas football the last three years. They were so freaking fun to watch. Favorite memory is McFadden shredding LSU's defense last year then the LSU coach saying, "Well, we didn't lose a game....in regulation". LMAO.
Last Halloween the two of them dressed up like Fred and Barney and attended classes in costume. The year before that DMc dressed up like a clown and went to class, complete with big ol' shoes and colored wig.
Anyone gonna set up the spread thingy? I'm in but am too lazy to format it :)
I can try to do it again this year. I dunno about this weekend tho. Me and the GF just broke up and I doubt Ill sober up before monday or tuesday.Quote:
