NYG looked great on both sides of the ball, though I'm sure playing Seattle helped! :(
both my fantasy teams are 3-2 now...I guess thats not too bad. Thanks to Jacobs he's on both of them :)
One of my teams is gonna be 5-0, other is gonna be 1-4. The 1-4 team got rocked with injuries tho, im picking up subs every week because someone goes down. Cant get any kind of consistent performers on it. 5-0 team is rocking everyone, tons of depth on it. I can see it going undefeated unless it gets hit with the injuries curse too.
Can't believe that MIAMI won!
They have made a 100% improvement (this short in the season) over last season's record!
I'd start thinking SB except for two things...
1. This is Miami. They are pathetic.
2. It was St. Louis that they were playing.
St Louis? They were on bye this week. They played San Diego, one of the favorites to win the AFC. They held LT to like 35 yards rushing. Ronnie Brown is running crazy over everyone, did anyone not see the NE game?
Its waaay to early to call SB for anyone, but Miami could definetly be looking at a winning record following a 1-15 season. Calling playoffs would be a push, but its looking good.
And *** Packers? 3 in a row?
Brain fart.
I DID see that. San Diego is a good team for Miami to be beating.
Ronnie Brown was well on his way to a breakout season last season before he hurt his knee. I still think Ricky Williams is a good back too... though I sure wouldn't rely on him to be around. A good backup back none-the-less.
I knew that they'd be better than last season... how couldn't they at 1-15?
I think that it was a mistake letting Jason Taylor go though... even in the twilight of his career.
Worst team in the league: D E T R O I T!
Me too. :cries
Our teams meet in Miami week 10; I'm sure that will be one for the ages.:o
Do the Rams and Lions play at all this year?
Without looking I'm going to say no; the NFC-W plays against the two East divisions this year.
If the Hawks lose to GB today, I'm going to declare their season unsalvageable. And Charlie Frye is starting, so it's already not looking good.
Wow, ss anyone watching this cowboys cardinals game? Can the refs be in the cowboys pocket anymore? I wonder if the money JJ pays them is part of the salary cap. Romo shoulda had 2 fumbles already, 1 in the end zone for a TD
Just because your a Giants fan don't be mad ;) the Cowboys are winning!
Arghhhh freaking cowboys... cant believe how this team is starting to fall apart... nick folk gives me heart attacks
well at least my longhorns are ranked 1
At least the lions are out there, so the Raiders aren't the worst. It is getting hard to watch my team. Bring on the blackouts. Post Kiffin seems even worse. Yeah, promoting a guy from line coach, with him still having his line duties, without any pay raise, and having new duties, yeah it will work out.........its a smart plan for a penny pincher, not for running a pro team.
With the 2nd pick in the 2009 draft, the Raiders pick...... (With the rams in the picture, it might be 3rd pick)
There is definitely ref bias in the league today.
There are glamour teams who seem to get far more breaks, non calls, benefit of the doubt, and double standards than others.
The Cowboys as "America's team" are one of the NFL's darlings. It makes it just that much harder for a lesser team like the Cards to overcome.
stupid frikkin Broncos and their turnovers. I was just shaking my head for the whole game yesterday. Idiots.
Cowboys lost to the Cardinals AND lost Romo for a month? It's like Christmas in October!
Actually, I like Romo. Sure he's doing a little bit of the rock star stuff, going on TV shows and dating celebrities, but he has always come off in interviews as a very down to earth nice guy who's just enjoying the ride (and we hear a LOT of interviews here in Dallas). Too bad for him that he's out, but I love hearing all the Cowboys fans here groan. :D
They also lost Felix Jones for 2-4 weeks, there punter for the season probably (one of the best punters in the league this year), already had Newman out for about another month, and may lose Pacman to a suspension. As an Eagles fan whose offense had been decimated this year because of injuries (both starting receivers, Westbrook, LJ smith for a couple games, and Shawn Andrews for the last 4 games), I feel no pity at all.
BTW...this is the best weekend in a long time football wise. I was very worried, but with the Eagles win, and the Cowpies, Foreskins, and Vagiants all losing, and the bye to maybe get our offense healthy again, we are right back in it. We really just need to play full games. We seem to fall apart right before halftime, and let teams back in the game when he have a chance to bury them.
Hey did anybody see Detroit win this weekend?
... PSYCH!
