Most great receivers don't take big hits. I've watched Rice the majority of his career and he never took the big hit. Neither did Tim Brown. They have such awareness of their surroundings that they always avoid contact. It's what's allowed them to play as long as they have.
Eli looked good last night, he didn't even have plax or shockey either. Toomer's looking like himself. My god do the giants need a kicker, Tynes missed 2 fg's from around 40 yards, I want feely back.
The Lions sucked this weekend! Wow. Lots of injuries too.
Without Kitna this team drafts in the top 3 yet again.

Might not have been apparent to the casual viewer... but apparently it was plenty evident to Rice.
But I do agree to a point... the great ones hardly ever get smoked.
That being said... I remember even Barry Sanders (maybe the most elusive RB ever) getting rawked from time to time...
Culpeppers stats were supposed to be even better than the stat sheet indicated...
He threw like eight passes with like 5 completeions and apparently had Porter have two bounce off his hands and had another one caught just out of bounds or sumthin.
And from what I saw on the highlights... his scrambling looked to be getting back into form.
I know that it's just the preseason... but I think that Miami gave up on him too quickly.
