I'm cool with at least minimum of 20+ fps in heavy action. If my computer can do that, I'm definitely getting this game.Now if they can only bring that price down...

I'm probably going to try the fps in the single player demo before I get this. Anyone got any information about a single player demo for RTCW?

And about the Gore, Max Payne had no gore, sure the guys bled but there was no "real-life" Bulletholes appearing/Bodyparts flying SOF Gore. So how about it? if you shoot someone they bleed right? And if you use a Rocket Launcher they fly into the air and land dead on the ground (alá Max Payne)

See I heard nobody *****ing about Max Payne's lack of "Gore" but I have heard so much moaning about RTCW that I was wondering what the big diff is.

And Oh Yeah I sure hope thats not clipping, Clipping sucks!

That's an already dead body ripped apart by a monster (Kinda like the one you see hidden behind the ball of flames a few posts up). He's already there before you get there. On the gore issue, there are no guts, no flying heads etc. You shoot, blood comes out and occasionally hits the wall and stays there, some blood on the floor, there is not excessive blood (unlike SOF or even Half Life) but more akin to that of Max Payne.

I've yet to have clipping, and only had one bad texture so far (Which kinda flashed a bit when i walked past it). Other from that it's been nothing but a graphical pleasure to walk through. https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/5.gif

um i cant live with that. i need to see the intestines spilling out of my enemies (as seen in sof). or at least pain skins, these are the same guys who did kingpin, they had pain skins and dismemberment there. what the hell!

this game was half assed, i can tell you that much. The orignal Wolf was known for its over the top gore for its time, i was expecting that to be much approved on. Raven should have gotten the deal to make this game.

so if a game doens't have gore it's "half-assed"??? that's one of the most f*cked up things i've heard so far. let me tell you that this game is anything but half-assed. try playing it first.

if you wanna see gore that much then keep playing your beloved sof or something

Don't get too excited about it...

blood on walls, and vaporization because of grenades is it.

Your not using real bullets. Just sleepy time bullets. Occasionally the make the bad guys sneeze red goo before they die, but thats it. No one gets hurt, they just fall asleep.

A fun game tho. Not great, not the next level or anything like that. But fun.

i picked it up saturday...
it runs great... although ive had a couple of lock-ups during map changes when i run the graphics all cranked up...
it runs smooth and the textures look great..
its gonna be one of the great fps games to have of all time...

I remember playing that on an old 286 comp that my parents still have, I even think that the copy of the game is still on it too.
