24/7.
I sometimes run SETI, but not anymore. I only reboot when windows tells me to.
The family computer has been running for the past 3-4 years 24/7 with the occasional reboot because this damn Win 98 freezes up all the time. My personal computer in my run, see sig, is on during the day but off and night when I sleep.
Mine is on 24/7 unless I have it open to fool with it :D When I'm not using it, it's crunching Seti units.
24/7 for months on end. Monitor gets turned off only if i'm going to be gone for more than a couple of hours. That monitor is now 6 years old. Older than any of the 10 computers ( 11 CPUs )it is currently tied to.
As long as I'm awake and not at school, usually crunching SETI.
keep my main machine on most of the day. i leave it up for AIM, just in case someone needs to get in touch with me, or if i need to crunch some numbers/process some video. turn it off when i goto sleep.
i keep my server machine up 24/7 unless i need to change the hardware.
