Light a man a fire, keep him warm for a day. Set a man on fire, keep him warm for a lifetime. :pQuote:

Depends on who is lighting the fire ;)
I got another one:
Show a monkey how to fly, and it will fly. Teach a monkey how to fly and it will build an airplane.
That's what we (people) are like, show us how to do something and we will do it, but if you teach us something we'll be able to use it somewhere else.

Give an IU student a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach an IU student to fish, along with giving him a fishing rod, tackle and bait and he'll starve...
That is delicious... I need to put that in my sig somewhere...Quote:

Since it appears I am a first-generation, I would like to slap you upside the head for picking on that. As Grizz was trying to point out without being mean, it is so simple it isn't worth the effort to describe in detail.Quote:

Of course, I would have written it in C++ using the GD library to generate the coin data dynamically, but I am nuts... ;)
isn't this a funny f'in message subject to see when all of the sudden i stumble upon this great idea: why don't i go to sharky to get someone who loves coding to do my entry level 10 line bs VB coding since it'd be so easy. well, it wouldn't really be cheating w/ me, because the class i'm taking is mainly concerned w/ logic rather than actual coding, i.e. psuedocode and whatnot, but i have to come up w/ a VB solution also, and instructor says he will do it for you if you don't already know how to code, cuz that's not what this class is about, but the professor stinks, and i can't keep from looking at his gigantic nose every time i see him. since i see you guys dont really like people askin' though i will just deal w/ the stench and have him write it out while i appease him w/ 5 minutes of company.
Give a man a fish and he'll be fed for a day. Teach him how to use the net and he won't bother you for weeks
