WT_F are you talking about. In case you didn't know, FF started on the NES for America.
J
YES I DO KNOW THAT FF AND OTHER RPG'S STARTED ON NES. BUT ARE YOU STUPID? HAVE YOU BEEN UNDER A ROCK? SQUARE WENT TO PLAYSTATION. WHAT IM SAYING IS SQUARE WILL NOW COME BACK TO NINTENDO AND DEVELOP FOR IT. OBVIOUSLY YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT THE HISTORY BETWEEN SQUARE AND NINTENDO. AND IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THEN DON'T CRITISIZE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS MORE THAN YOU.OK:)
I KNOW SMART@SS. The only reason (other than Sony) that FF didn't stay with Nintendo was because the games were too big to fit on the damn N64 cartridges. Noob. Wurm, can you smack this guy around for me?
J
IM THE NOOB  PLEASE GO AHEAD. FF DIDNT LEAVE NINTENDO DUMBA$$ ITS CALLED SQUARE!! THEY LEFT FOR SONY. THY DIDNT LEAVE BECAUSE OF THE SIZE OF THE CARTRIDGE YOU BUM. SQUARE WENT TO PLAYSTATION YEARS BEFORE NINTENDO 64 CAME OUT. SQUARE LEFT NINTENDO CAUSE NINTENDO DIDNT STICK WITH THE CD FORMAT IN THE BEGGINNING LIKE THEY SAID THEY WERE. SONY WAS ACTUALLY WORKING WITH NINTENDO ALONG WITH PHILLIPS TO MAKE THE FIRST CD BASED CONSOLE. DUH. THEY CAME OUT WITHT THE CONSOLE, IT PLAYED CD'S AND SNES CARTRIDGES AND THE NAME WAS PLAYSTATION. BUT NINTENDO SAID THEY DIDN'T LIKE IT AND SAID THEY WOULDNT MAKE GAMES ON THE CD SO SONY LEFT AND MADE THE PLAYSTATION X. (NOTICE THE NAME IS DIFFERENT THEN PLAYSTAION). THEN THATS WHERE SQUARE DEFECTED YOU BUM. THEY LEFT CAUSE NINTENDO WOULDNT STICK WITH THE CD FORMAT. SQUARE DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE SIZE OF THE F@#$%&* CARTRIDGE. LOOK WHO'S THE NOOB
RRRRIIIGGGGHHTTT. Noob alert. Also, incase you didn't know, the Caps Lock key is right under the Tab key. I know, you don't have to apologize, it's hard to find sometimes.Quote:

dude just one thing
could you please not use caps lock
Square and Nintendo both had a falling out, for a few reasons. The first, was Nintendo's decision to abandon the CD-addon for the SNES. The second, was Nintendo's decision to limit cartridge sizes for cost purposes. Square wanted more to work with, Nintendo wouldn't budge. They cited how Square was able to pull of great feats with Final Fantasy III/VI on a SNES cartridge, so a cartridge size 10-15 times the size of SNES cartridge should have been fine.
Third, Square and Nintendo had arguments over artistic and content control. Nintendo saw the pre-alpha Final Fantasy 64 and liked the format of the characters. Square, afterwards, decided perhaps they wanted more grown up looking characters. Nintendo disagreed.
Nintendo also wanted control to oversee the content of the game. Squaresoft wanted to add more "adult" themes into their games and Nintendo simply refused. No negotiation, simply a refusal. I guess Nintendo was just a little headstrong after their immense success with the SNES and they felt that whatever decision they made, it would fly with everyone.
So, Square, just a little ticked off at Nintendo, especially having brought Nintendo major revenue (Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III were HUGE SNES system sellers), they decided to go to someone else who would respect them a little more. Sony was the first, namely because by this time, the Saturn was already showing signs of inherrent failure. Having CD-technology was also a huge bonus.
Ironically enough, Final Fantasy VII WAS censored when it came to North America.
Anyways, this was not a Nintendo bashing session, I still am a very strong supporter of Nintendo and I believe they are learning from their mistakes, slowly but surely. :)
First thing they need to do is force Yamauchi to retire (President of Nintendo). Whenever that guy opens his mouth, sheer madness ensues. :D
By the way, Supercharged, if you're even bothering to read this, I'm going to state this again, even though it's been stated a few times now and you keep ignoring it.
YOUR CAPSLOCK KEY IS LOCATED RIGHT UNDERNEATH YOUR TAB KEY. PLEASE DO US A FAVOUR AND TURN IT OFF.
Well put Spark :cool:Quote:

SINCE FINAL FANTASY TACTICS IS OBVIOUSLY LONG BECAUSE OF THE HARD A$$ FMV'S. THEY ARE GOING TO BE TAKING THE MOVING SCENES OUT SO THE GAME COULD FIT ON THE SMALL GAMEBOY ADVANCE CARTRIDGE.
Hey! It's the guy who can't find his Caplock Key on his keyboard! :rolleyes:Quote:
