Yeah I've been following this game for about a year now, and they have really been putting a lot into this title, it should be amazing...especially Capture the Flag and DM. Since it's the Q3A engine, we can expect much better mods for it than we had for the original Jedi Knight : Dark Forces 2.

I hope the single player last a bit longer than 10-12 hrs like avp2, max payne, rtcw, mohaa, renegade.And MP out of the box, i dont want to download a patch 2 days after the release. I am waiting for the woosh woosh sound of my lightsabre:D

Im assuming by MP you mean Multiplayer. Actually the original Jedi Knight was the first star wars FPS with multiplayer. I wasnt really excited about Jedi Knight 2 till i watched the trailer just now... all i can say is WOW. Looks like they really polished up the lightsabre fighting. Before lightsabres were about as useful as the knife in CS or any of those other games. Looks like now theres a lot more lightsabre tricks! Some of that wall walking force power stuff looks cool too. The force powers is whats really going to make this game stand out from other FPS (well that and the fact that its star wars). Itll definately be a different twist to the usual deathmatch/CTF game. I cant wait!

I disagree that the lightsaber was useless in the previous game, combined with force run, or force persuation, it made a really powerful one/two hit kill weapon.

Plus you could deflect just about any energy weapon back at the one who fired it w/ a decent force level. The saber rocked!

One of the things I like the best is that lightning is now targeted. Lightning was nearly useless in JK 1 because it used lots of power and rarely connected. Grip/throw/destruction were much better.

Grip was probably the best force power in JK:DF2, it used very few mana points, and made anyone (even those light jedi using absorb) suseptible to attack.

I like the box.
