My P4 1.6A (Northwood) Benchmark + Overclocking Results!! Whoa!

BTW Unfortunately I can't benchmark right now out of sisoft, unless you really wanna see how well my TNT2MX can perform, lol. I'm still waiting for my ATI 8500 from buy.com which has been on backorder for over a month alrdy!

I think I might be able to hit 2.6GHz if I back off the ram and get a better heatsink(using Stock) Plus I'm at 1.65v and can go to 1.75v(I think but I can go to 1.7v for sure) :D I have my TNT2 in aswell, but get my MSI GF4 Ti400 next week :D I'll go ahead and post my benchies :D

temp is for board is 46C (i know it is high) and for CPU it is 52C

i stepped down to 2.4 GHz. so i won't kill it. need more cooling :)

my voltage is 1.625 just like urs also, but i'm not using an AS3 or anything....just stock HSF right on.

PS: i can reach 157 FSB and run 3dmark successfuly.....just not for a long time...not enough cooling like i said..this ABIT board ROCKS!

Where are the benchies? Not to be an arse, but I'm just a little skeptical, 150MHz FSB with RDRAM is quite insane, but if you did it, more props to you man :D I think I belong in teh showme state, not Kentucky lol. I hope you're not offended by it though, cuz it's not meant to be an offensive post ;)

well it's set to 3x mode which means it is only running at 900 MHz. right now..i don't see anything special about that

if i set my CPU to 2.13 GHz. @ 133 FSB i can run the RAM at 4X mode which equals to 1066 MHZ! NOW THAT IS INSANE! it runs PERFECTLY STABLE!! but don't u even try touching the ram sink....ur hand would get burnt

Our rigs are the same, hehe. On each test we were only off from each other by a few points. But you got me with the RDRAM by 100Mb/s of bandwidth. Which really isnt bad considering I'm using DDR :D Nice scores though ;)

Yep :D If only I could find a way to keep my RAM stable and grab 100Mb/s of extra bandwidth, but I dont think it's possible considering the Vmem is maxed out. I could lay back on the timing a little, but that would defeat the purpose, but I would be able to take my CPU a little higher. I think I'll have to fiddle around a little more later :D
