Final score is 13500. I can tweak a little more I'm sure and go a tad higher. But b4 I do I want to publish this score of 13500.
As far system settings go I am running this at 151FSB 315core and 725 mem. I think the mem can go higher. My core wont do 320. I even put AS3 on the GPU and have 2 80 mm blowholes hittin the card but no 320.
Using 28.90 drivers that are hacked for refresh rate fix.
Memory settings are 2.5-5-3-2
I optimized XP to get best possible performance.
Other than that just your regular junk.

There isn't much to tweakin XP (sorry to disappoint). I just went to .www.tweakxp.com and followed some of the tips. I honestly don't remember exactly which ones I did back then because I imaged my drive when I build this new P4 rig and did the tweaks immediately b4 imaging so I wouldnt have to do them anymore.
I just did some standard things like locking the swap file and putting it on a separate partition. There was a guide that was posted on hardocp to get the highest 3d mark scores which I followed. One of the things was to make sure your desktop is set to 1024x768x32 to match the default 3D mark settings.
I also have 2 images of my system. One is right after an install of XP with only benchmark software loaded. The other is with all my apps and stuff loaded up. When I want to benchmark I reimage my Drive with the benchmark only setup. This way I always have a nice new install of XP all setup for benchmarking. Then I easily switchback to my "totally installed" setup in about 15 minutes when I'm done with benchmarking. I could do this differently with a dual boot setup and then reimage only 2nd install but this is retty easy too.
I hate people who obviously cheated to get their score. Look at the #1 guy. He has 16000 with a Dell Dimension 8200 with a 100mhz FSB.
Or the #2 and #3 guy with low scores across the board but their nature scores are all of a sudden 260fps.
That is lame.
Macci is the real #1 but due to cheaters he is only #4.
Well you should be very very proud. That's a tremendous result. Also you may hold this lead longer than you realize. Certainly four or five guys are within reach of that mark but it will be challenging to match you. I have seen guys OC their 4600's to speeds exceeding your own, but then again you've got that wicked FSBQuote:
