But I'd go with the X-Box. Their list of third party developers looks very promising and programmers actually *enjoy* coding on it. Why? Because it IS a PC essentially and any major programmer out there was brought up coding for PC's. Plus, I hear that the PS2 and its Emotion Engine is a bizatcho to program for.
I agree with the Gamecube concerns. Metroid, SMB and Zelda were glorious in their 2D days and seeing them in 3D gives me aneurysms. I really liked how Konami stuck to old skool with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night by staying 2D on the PS1.
3D..? This is nothing new, am I supposed to be impressed? It's all about fun dammit.. FUN. DAMMIT I WANT MY FUN. :mad:
