i do have an alpha 8942 around here...maybe i'll try putting it on later to see if it works better??? i don't know i dont think it would though since all the reviews say swiftecs are cooler....
I might be able to find time to help you guys out. I need to publish my official for my 2.8Ghz setup. I should just bring my office pc home and work on it there. I never have time to work on it while i am there.
This looks good! :)
3DMark compare. It's drastically different now, I'm getting a new motherboard and RAM (8K5A2+, Mystif's infinitely overclockable Sammy CTL) and already got a new video card and Processor (Gainward Ti4200 128MB, 1600+ AROIA Y 0212). Besides all that, the other stuff is in my sig.
So that 3551 3DMark is kinda misleading :p
Ah, I'm glad you finally put this together. :)
Anyway, I'll gladly be a member. I have to go to class, I'll read through the thread a little more in detail later. Just wanted to give the heads up. :)
Pyro, sorry I never got back to you after you ran this idea by me. Sign me up, all my info is here and I should have some new 3D Marks this weekend.

(BTW, let me know if you need hosting for the site) :)
mystifmagic, no problem. :) Your already in. :D I knew you and CrawlingEye had thought the idea of a 3dmark team would be excellent, so I went ahead and added your guys information.
(BTW, let me know if you need hosting for the site)
I'll definitely keep you informed. Right now all the hosting I have is a netfirms and angelfire account.
oops...looks like I beat crawlingeye's 2.7Ghz OC with a 2.34Ghz OC
Oh well..here are the stats from my other system:
CPU: AXP2400+
Motherboard: 8K5A2+
Ram: PC3000
Video Card: Ti4600
OS: XP
HSF: SLK-800
Video cooling: Modded Air
Score: 14188
Comare:

Not really all that hard to beat my 2.7GHz OC, considering it's a P4 (lower IPC) and I was only using a 4:5 divider during the benches. I'm soon going to vdimm mod the P4S533 as well as finish my ramsink mod. I have all of the parts to do this, I just need to finally stop being lazy and pick up a torch. :)Quote:
