BTW, I was kinda disappointed with the gameplay of Starfleet Command 3. ITs way too slow for my liking. But I may give it another shot later this year. I just hope they don't cancel Star Trek Armada 3. Which IMO is the one best Star Trek game franchises after Bridge Commander and Elite Force (Elite Force II coming soon!)

Anyone know how good O.R.B. is? I'm thinking of getting either Hegemonia or O.R.B. but I keep hearing conflicting stories from both camps.

1)Tech tree for all 3 races identical.
2)No Carrier units available
3)Battles are more like a non-interactive cinematic. (ie once engaged in battle, ships duck and weave autonomously and attack until battles are won)

Pros and cons of O.R.B.

1)No planet building options, which rules out planet empire expansion options.
2)xyz axis contolling of ships slightly cumbersome (Heg much easier to get a hang of)
3)gfx not bad but eye candy not upto par with Hegemonia (have you seen the planets and explosions in Heg? ::drools::
4)Again no planet conquering! :(

Eh, MOO3 is delayed again. Said it has a few more bugs they need to work out. They said it should be out before Christmas.

I already made my choice. Heg wins, and I just got it. I'll let you guys know how it plays.

Is Heg out? I checked Best Buy for it yesterday and it wasn't there. Release was in November yes? Anyone playing this yet? I am looking for a new game and enjoyed Homeworld. Just looking for some input on Heg, the visuals are stunning.

Get it buddy, you'll thank me later. The visuals are the greatest and the Heg forums are buzzing with the possiblity of a sequel and the mods that might spawn from it as well. A su-weet buy.
