I know this should go in cases and cooling but I wanted to reply. I have an msi kt3 ultra aru motherboard that reads directly from the cpu core & my temps right now are 39c cpu. Now my dig doc 5 is reading 43.8c for cpu but that uses a sensor that I have taped to the outside of the cpu. So for me the core temp is actually lower than the probe temp. We all know that the mother board core temp is the more accurate of the two. You know it's funny my mother board temps are exactly what you have posted above, cpu core 39c & case 36c. Of course with the exception that 36c is your ambient & it's my case temp. What mother board do you have doomah? I know when I got mine there wasn't but 2 boards that would read the cpu core. Also what kind of cooling do you have? Just curious.
