And my guess would be that even once full production is started that it would take at least 30 days to get the chipments out to card makers and for them to build, validate, and ship a product to retail.Quote:

GF FX in Xmas. Ha! :D
chances of getting that card for christmas are just that though...pretty much none. it seems right now that they won't be readily available until a month or two into 2003

2nd to worst bond movie I've ever seen, but the ... "scenery" ... is nice ;)
ewww........so, things don't look too good for the holidays?
So you guys think the beginning of January looks better?? That really doesn't bother me if I don't get it for XMas, but I'd like to atleast rest assured that I'd get one within the next month and spend my savings toward.
Oh, and, anybody know what the official price range will be for them?
I've heard $299-$399 from some sites, and yet most other sites say $399-$499 which is REDICULOUSLY expensive for anything that will be outdated within 2 years.
Seeing as how they just recently started low volume test production, and it usually takes about a month after FULL production starts to get stuff verified and out to retailers, you're looking at mid January if they start full production NOW...since I would think it would be a minimum of 2 weeks before they start full scale(probably more, but I'm trying to give you a BEST case scenario), you're looking at last week in jan to early FEB probably at the earliest.
that long?!! hehehe...just kidding. can't wiat for that to come out. gf fx.....<drools>
and does anyone know the official price? i'm wondering how much money i have to save now! :p
rosamund pike...<drools>
heheheh.;)
You might get a Review of the Geforce FX video card for christmas, would you like that.

I've heard that a small shipment will arrive in December, before they are easily available on the market in February. My question is though, what stores are going to sell them in December? Would you have to order them directly from the manufacuter's website (PNY, Gainward, etc.) or is a place like Best Buy going to get a small shipment in?
