I'm not a big fan of gaming on laptops. Gaming on a 14.1 LCD screen just hurts. Physically, my eyes just give after a bit.
On a side note, Aren't laptops really for portability? Every laptop considered in the previous posts weigh at least 8lbs each. I sent my Inspiron 2650 back, and got a 5.6lb one (Inspiron 4150), and I won't go back. Just built a regular system if you're gonna game.

I got that free from Dell in october. They lost my I7500 that had A PII 400mhz, 6bg HD, and a 8mb video card.
My main gaming computer just broke down (gotta replace the Motherboard)so I stuck with that for gaming. My favorite game Battlefield 1942 plays at 10 fps on medium. My Desktop get an easy 100fps on high. So I can offically say that laptops or at least mine SUX MAJOR A$$.
Dont forget that notebooks(some, at least) are running intel's latest and greatest...the 3.06. And that thing can haul.Quote:

If you must have the latest and greatest I suppose waiting a month or two for NVidia's geforce 4200go or ATI's M10 wouldn't hurt. I suspect ATI's chip will be more readily available though.
