Yea, you are right by saying most configs are 2x256, that's why I stated it earlier. Yea, the AIUHB steppings are the norm for 2100's, that's why I asked. There are 3 steppings which are AIUCB, AIUGB, and AIUHB. I am almost certain you have an AIUHB, but you know more than I do about your chip. ;) The JIUHB's are always found on 1700+s, and now some 1800+s. I see what you are saying, and I agree with you but like I said I would have to check around some more to see if anyone is using the 2x512setup with an A1 stepping. I am not convinced yet ;). That does suck for you though, ever thought of selling off one stick and just going SC. I mean the performance difference is nothing, except in Snadra and 3DMARK. Also, I don't know your situation that well, but have you tried running just one stick yet and seeing how high you can go???? I know for a fact that the A1 does co operate with the 512PC3500 sticks, because I showed you a pic earlier of my brothers results.
It's funny, cause I have tried 1 stick with the same results. Very frustrating. I'm in the process of an RMA to Kingston. Perhaps the new sticks will perform better, I dunno. I could return/sell these and get 2x256, but then I'd still have 512mb. Kinda like having 1gig of ram. Stuff loads so fast, it's not even funny.
