You should be able to use the digital connection for dvd's (just get a coax connector...) or you could use three stereo y-splitters for analog 5.1 (the dvd 6 chan input). I would suggest making sure your santa cruz drivers are updated and you have a modern version of WinDVD or PowerDVD. Do you have these things?
I have whatever drivers came on the TBSC CD, and whatever version of PowerDVD that came with my Lite-On DVD drive. The TBSC has center & sub on one channel out, and it's two inputs on the receiver..which color goes to which (white to sub, red to center..or vice versa)?Quote:

(from http://support.ap.dell.com/docs/acc/38frh/usage.htm
Section "Channel Assignments in 6 Speaker Mode")
Channel 5
Center Channel
VersaJack Line Out, tip conductor
Channel 6
Subwoofer Channel (LFE)
VersaJack Line Out, ring conductor
(and from section "External Connectors")
Red is for right/ring
Black is for left/tip
And for your case, the red is the important one.
Summary: red = sub, white = center
You should download the latest drivers... they are worth it! :)Quote:
