Well, I've got it installed, but when I try to log in it says I don't have a PlanetSide subscription. I've already filled out the beta application and have gotten a coulple of comformation emails. Fileplanet says "You will get in", so why does it still say that I don't have a subscription. Anyone else have this problem?

If you can't, then your not accepted into the beta yet.
I am having the exact same problem as yoda. The website says I was accepted into beta, but I never recieved an email about (in fact it said that a few weeks ago as well). When I try to register for PS, I get some weird error about it being "Forbidden: you dont have permission to...." Anyone have some ideas?
Guys I have had the open CD beta now for a few weeks and I can say the idea is there and they are getting near a finsh product, but they have a long ways to go. I have the system in my sig and it still stutters, eats memory(It uses more than I have 600-750megs!!!!:eek: )and slows down badly in heavy action. IMO stay away from this till all the bugs are worked out;)
w00t! they finally let me in. It runs ok on my system, even with the eye candy on. Like Vengance said it gets stuttery in heavy action though.
mine runs it just fine in high detail 1600x1200,
(and this is not a t-bird claim either):)
the key is memory I think for this game. You have 1GB of ram. I get mad pagefile and I think thats why the game stutters. Overwise I get 60-75FPS.
yeah, thats why i got the gb, for this game and generals (generals is a mem hog like none other)
that and i wanted bragging rights over all my friends, the witnessed the glory of the GB when i can play planetside without stuttering and they cant!
and btw how to get fps in planetside anyway?
I was in on the 'early' part of the beta.. my PS folder is 2.9 GBs!!!
The game is no where near done. I can't believe they're going to send it out for some suckers to pick up.
Often, the gameplay returns to the point where I see someone, shoot, empty a clip, and hope that it registered. Oh wait.. now I died in one shot with no one near me. Lag is a huge issue in the game. My PC is pretty fast and I have a very fast link (never have any problems with any games online) so I would doubt its only me that's having this problem. I'm sticking to Desert Combat! That mod is awesome!
i'm still kicking myself about reading the 512 MB's of RAM thing AFTER letting it go for a couple hours...gotta get that Abit RMA'ed...i need my baby back...
