Finally some Free time but what game to buy? Planetside?

I have been playing the game for almost a month now and still have not gotten tired of it. BF 1942 I got tired of in a week or so. Depends on whether you want the system they have in Planetside with the certs, exp, and squads/outfits or would prefer the usual FPS style games. I for one am sick of the usual FPS games and wish for something more squad oriented and revolves around specialties.

I was in the Planetside beta and I had a blast (partly because it was free). The game is great, the only problem I found was that once my outfit (group of friends) slowly died down I was left trying to find a squad to join, and it just wasn't as fun. So if you can't find a good group of people to hang with you'll burn out pretty fast.

Instead of buying planetside I was thinking of picking up BF 1942. I've heard nothing but good about BF 1942. Those of you that've played planetside and BF, should I get BF?

Freelancer. It's a fantastic game.

Amen on that. Planetside isn't worth the box cost, let alone the monthly fee.
