I personaly would like an nice looking pc.
ANTEC PLUS1080AMG anyone, it might not have a lots of fancy stuff but damn it does look nice imho, plus it has what counts, LOTS OF ROOM! :) and it also got 4 fan mount.
edit: killing a stupid spell error its ANTEC not ATNEC dammnit :p
If appearance doesn't cost any extra, then sure I'll take it. As for lights & stuff... Do they make the computer run faster? More stable? Then I don't need 'em.
looks are a very big part!
i mean u have to have the components inside to back it up though...
the computer world is like the street racing world...it cant be all show no go:D
Whatever floats your boat.Quote:

I don't think I'd use the "street racing world" as an example, though -- too many wannabes are ALL show. Around where I live there are two cars in particular that come to mind -- a Hyundai Accent with a custom paint job, ground effects package, and huge spoiler and an old Toyota Camry with an aluminum spoiler big enough for a sprint car. Those "upgrades" are money that could've been better spent under the hood (or simply buying a better car).
The same applies to my computer -- I've got X dollars... Do I want a neon light or more RAM?
I just want a case that I don't have to take my PSU and optical drives out of to work on...
mine's too cramped :(
could care less what it looks like, as long as its resonably quiet, and the innards are nice and cool Im happy.
Substanced over style any day!:D
I prefer a nice balance between the two. I will admit I have some LED fans but I try not to overdo it. Just a few to make the case glow blue is good. Oh, and the sunbeam:D
I agree with Skydog though, I would rather spend money on RAM, CPU's and other stuff...
For me looks are the last thing on the list. I need a case, that is easy to work with, has loads of space, and is of good quality... oh and availability is also very important.
All my other stuff are beige so I tend to stick with it... would rather spend more for the stuff inside, than having a nice looking case. My case is hidden underneath the table in any case (full tower) so nobody sees it..
Had a girlfriend once, as it turned out, was all show; no go :D
I prefer go over show anyday, that goes for cars too
My point EXACTALLY. can't stand "Rice Boys" like those idiot kids with their car and fake Turbo/V-Tec sticks :PQuote:

my box looks plains plain with only a Athlon XP and MSI sticker on it (for my cpu & mobo)
To make my pc look good, I only spend money on the quality of the case (ie, CoolerMaster or Lian Li) and the acoustics of it.
I just spent $$,$$$ buying furniture for my room where I keep my PC and honestly, an extra 50-150 to buy a nice looking case like a coolermaster that blends in well with the rest of the furniture is well worth it for me. I'm sick of beige cases and beige drives.
