only if your cpu can handle it, Maxvla got the same performance with a 9500 as 9700 cause his cpu is too slow.......imagine 3.6GHz a bottleneck! even a ti4200 is nearly overkill, but its good at 3dmark anyway LOL

Ti4200 overkill? I'll tell ya, I didn't use AA/AF (Ti4200) before
but I sure do now! I even gave a friend a bit of a lesson in AA,
using NASCAR 2003 w/no-2x-4xAA. A CLEAR difference. Not to beat this
to death, but 3DM is a NUMBER. A useful one, I guess, but not necess-
arily related to real world/gaming performance.
As time goes on, it seems that certain items almost achieve 'cult'
status; The Cele 300A., Ti4200, AMD 'B' 1700/2100, and now, the 9700np -
mostly for price/performance.....sorry if I left anything
out.......MC
