Stock code is SPD650, if that's any help. I know what it is you're after, Mr Cherry, and I have them in stock, but I'm in Melbourne, Aus. They're $50Aus (overpriced, IMHO), so if you can find an EPOX distributer in your part of the world, you shouldn't have to pay more than $30US. You may even want to email Epox and ask them to put you onto a distributer in your area.

Well I've got a Epox 8RDA+ and it didn't come with the 5.1 speaker add-on card so I can hook up a 5.1 system to it. It's only got the standard 3 plug out let. Now I know nothing about computer audio, but I'd like to some time be able to get a 5.1 speaker system (maybe z640). Where can I get the add-on card? I can't find it anywhere one Epox's website.

Rear out (blue)

Basically you lose mic-in and line-in when you switch to 6ch mode.

Yeah, I was reading the PDF and I saw this too. But, I use my Mic a lot and really don't want to give it up.Quote:

AFAIK most onboard sound does the same thing and there is rarely anything you can do other than disabling onboard sound and getting a PCI card.Quote:

I'm talking about PCI sound card. Not an add-on card. I doubt many motherboards would bother with one.Quote:

I know, but I've already stated I'm trying to avoid buying an expensive sound card and still keep my mic. That's why I want to get the add-on card. You said:Quote:

I'm trying to do that "rare" thing and get the add-on card. Which should let me use my soundstorm with 5.1 speakers and a microphone.Quote:

I think you did not understand what I was saying. By "rare" I mean that the MB developer would bother making such an add-on card. If they don't there is nothing that can be done short of getting a better sound card. You could probably get something fairly cheap off ebay.Quote:
