I haven't used a floppy drive for three years now. Everything goes on CD, DVD, or USB disk.

Not when the 9600 Pro is OC'ed - then it beats the stock 9500 Pro.
Uhhhh....I think the 'watt' was a bit of a joke.Quote:

Also, o/c'ing should be spread across the board. If u can o/c a 9600
Pro then it should be compared to what a 9500Pro can do o/c'd. PLUS,
I don't really know how much faster a o/c'd 9600Pro is than a stock
9500Pro....I don't have #'s to back me up, though.....
A R9600 Pro o/ced to the max will be slightly faster than a R9500 Pro at stock...
i've got mine softmodded to 324 core and 297mem :D
omg T-bird! that's one of the most supid excuses I've heard!!
Hey boys,
don't MESS with my floppy! Gotta have it, cuz, well just because...;)
Just go ahead and try to install the drivers for your SCSI card or RAID during the installation of an NT OS without it. :pQuote:

okay now in all honesty...
tbird you have to think about this just a smidge, if a company is going to make you shell out 200 for a card, im pretty sure they are going to front you a $.20 adapter just so that you can USE IT WHEN YOU GET HOME.
Shist, when I bought my APC UPS they provided a crapy little philips head screwdriver, so you could undo the housing and connect the battery.
OK, that's pretty much my point.......Quote:

Let me add, BTW, my vote for the underrated floppy!!
Yes, but the 9600P is lower cost.Quote:

BTW - "We don't NEED no steenk-ing RAID, scuzzy, or NT!!";)
It IS a bit of a choice, now that I look at the $$$ involved...$150 for the 9600Pro compared to AROUND $190 for the 9500Pro.Quote:

I'm just glad I'd gotten my 9700np for $198 w/shipping.....
The cheapest I've seen the 9500P lately is $199. - and that's actually in stock. Where'd you price it for $190.?
