I think Dell does.Quote:
They still make new PCs with the 7500s.
Other than that, don't even look at a 7500 since you can get an 8500LE for about $5 more. Even better, look for a Ti4200.

Did you even read what s1203372 or what jagojago12 said?Quote:

am I right? wow its sad if you cant run a game with lowest details, what about the cpu equation doing the load?
The Radeon 7000 is slightly faster than a Voodoo3 3500 or a TNT2 Ultra. The Radeon 7000 is clocked at 183/366 using 64-bit DDR. That means it has a memory bandwidth of 2.93GB/sec with a fillrate of 183 megapixels/sec and 549 megatexels/sec. That's in theory. In practice, the Radeon 7000 only offers a peak multitexturing fillrate of 366 megatexels/sec because there are almost no games that use the 3rd texture mapping unit (TMU) on the R100 core. To add insult to injury, it has no Texture & Lighting engine, forcing high CPU utilization.
This basically comes down as a card that's barely able to beat the Voodoo3 3500 and TNT2 Ultra. Those cards are ANCIENT and the performance of the Radeon 7000 speaks for itself.
So in a nutshell,
Those are approximations. Many people know that the Radeon 32MB DDR was not equal and/or faster than the GeForce2 GTS until you cranked the resolution to 1600x1200@32-bit.Code:Radeon 7000 (aka Radeon VE)..................Voodoo3/TNT2
Radeon 7200 SDR (aka Radeon 32MB SDR)........GeForce2 MX400
Radeon 7200 DDR (aka Radeon 32MB DDR)........GeForce2 GTS
Radeon 7200 64MB DDR (aka Radeon 64MB VIVO)..GeForce2 Pro
Radeon 7500 64MB DDR.........................GeForce2 Ultra
My old boss used to join in with UT and AvP2, these days I play with around 7 others in the company with ET :)Quote:

Did I mention I happen to work for a computer games company? :P
Managed to nab a slightly better PC for the moment, P3 800 with a GF4Ti4200, just getting fired up to play at 1pm.
John
I use to play RTCW on line at 800x600x16 very well with a 32mb GF2 MX200 a GF2 GTS should play at 1024x768x32 without much effort.:confused:Quote:

A Geforce GTS probably would be fine, I was meaning to swap the Radeon 7000 for a GTS which was sitting unused in another machine. I think someone mentioned already that a Radeon 7000 probably isn't even as good as a Geforce1, it doesn't have hardware TnL.Quote:
