Great mod man. Most impressive.
Mad props for originality!:) Thats really awesome..
Awesome job!! I just sleeved a couple PSUs and they are nowhere near as stylish as that. :) I really like the idea of mounting the Molex in the back of the unit, I'm just to nervous to go ripping up my precious True480. :(
It has been our project together this past year. She picked out the case and the color of the sleeving. She went with me on several trips to get the parts.Quote:

I am planning on doing the exact same thing with my PSU now, but I've got a question. Where did you manage to get those right angle molex connectors? I can't seem to find them anywhere.
very nice job, gary. lol, i'm almost a little dissapointed, because i have a mod like this in the works, but it looks like you beat me to it, congrats, great minds think alike:p .
peace
Nice work Gary, I especially like the purple look. My next case I wanted to go with Purple and Black (my school colors).
I have a couple questions as well, first off where did you get those right angle connectors, they seem like they would come in handy in many situations.
Secondly, did you plan on leaving any room for possible expansion? It looks like you used up all your connectors already, so would you add more molex connectors on the back of your PSU or possibly daisy chain a connector with 3 or 4 connectors on it instead of 2?
nice job gary. but wow, this thread is old.
I got them from Mouser electronics.Quote:

When I change the drive configuration I will add another connector to the existing cable, or make a new cable from the PSU to the drives.
It has been quite a while since I did this, I have done another PSU for my computer, you can see it HERE.

Very nice Gary as usual!Quote:

may I ask which sleeving kit you used? I ordered the flexofit but I heard it doesn't come out as nice as taking the molex plugs out.
Which kit do you recommend.
Hey Colossus, what's the 411 on the server case?
Slight hijack......sorry. (old threads are usually forgiving)
