Why should we blame nVidia? (need details)
Because its fun :D . Anyways everything I have seen/heard points to a Sept. 30th release. I'm gonna buy it no matter when it comes out.Quote:

LOL...looks like HL2 is gonna be no different than CS:CZ delay wise. Vivendi just needs to die already.Quote:

I thought for once a game would actually get released on-time!
Did I mention this sucks?
EB says: Nov. 11th

Best buy says between the 3rd and 12th!

Why do they always have to do this? Can't they ever get a game out the door on-time. I'm sure they'll officially announce the delay on the 29th... (like always)
Valve could always go back to sierra. Anyway we should blame nvidia, optimizing for their gpu took something like 3 months. I COULD BE PLAYING HL2 NOW IF IT WERENT FOR THAT
That wouldn't be to bad if Vivendi wasn't the owner of Sierra Studios. Vivendi is already starting it's downfall. They spent too much money buying out other companies like the USA network(USA, Scifi channel), Sierra, Blizzard, etc. and they didn't get the returns they expected. In 2001 alone they lost 13.6 billion euros(they are a french company).Quote:

true but it would not have been econamicaly sound to release a game that basically doesnt play on the majority of copmuters since 60% some odd have nvidia gfx cards in there computersQuote:

Hmm, maybe if they haven't put those man hours in they could bundle HL2 with a coupon for some amount off an ATI card.
Easy on the developers, easy on gamers.
Still think it's not gonna be delayed.
there is no "I think" or "It might"...IT WILL BE RELEASED ON SEPT 30TH...Quote:

As long as I get the game this year, I'll be happy.
If it were being released Sept 30, wouldn't it be Gold by now? :confused:Quote:
