Like I'd mentioned, I had issues (couldn't get over 180 with mine no matter what, SC or DC....) that were resolved (215 DC) with the '024' rev as compared to my original '012' rev.Quote:

Weren't those errors non-existant if you were using 2 512mb sticks instead of 2 256mb sticks?
Don't know.....all I know is that there's a plethora (???) of evidence for HyperX issues, mostly with 8RDA+. Mine were with 2x256, and Kingston was really good about the RMA I'd gotten.....Quote:

I could buy it, but I'd rather not argue with my parents over it. I would be spending my money...so the would let me buy it, but again...I'd rather not fight them after I told them I would not be buying anything after the CPU and sound card.
I'd almost prefer it be Value RAM, considering what my PC2100 and Macci's PC2700 is doing now!:eek:
The timings don't matter much on this board I don't think, a higher FSB will yield more performance.:)
