um, yeah so anyways...
most heatsinks these days (including all the slk's ) perform better pushing air into the heatsink. the only one i can think of that it's recommended to have the fan pull air away from the heatsink is the PAL8045, which is the one i've got. in my experience if your ambient temps are cool then this heatsink actually does do a better job when drawing air away from the heatsink, but if your ambient temps are hot, like mine are, it's better to push air into the heatsink.
but for the quick answer, fan should blow air into the heatsink
