First Post was made quickly before the hammer came down.
This one is not necessarily a favorite just odd.
Complete story found HERE :cool:Quote:
They were the Bill Gates and Steve Jobs of their day. They were the ones who tinkered alone and envisioned a world well beyond the grasp of their contemporaries .
They were the toilet makers the men who understood with incomplete knowledge that there was a better way than chamber pots and open trenches, and set about finding it. They labored long hours, usually alone and for little reward. In some cases, there was no reward, just ridicule for an invention too far ahead of it's time.
What is this "in before the lock" and "before the hammer came down" stuff? I would assume it means the topic has been closed or something, but here I am posting so I'm not sure.
Anyway, my favorites are made up of places I'd forget about rather than places that I go to a lot. Some of the stuff includes specific DVDs for sale (Sailor Moon Box Set for example), places that sell Class III firearms (Galil ARM 7.62 full auto for $1250 [not including dealer and BATF fees]), and movie pages (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...and Spring at IMDb for instance).
The Urban Legends Reference Page has always been one of my favorites...
