Patrick, you forgot to mention that the case the iHP come with is play through. The iPod's case is not.
Meaning, I can navigate the iHP perfectly with the leather case on the same without it. Oh, and the remote does 99% of the work plugged in, it's awesome:)
How do you navigate through the tons of songs?
Pretty much every HDD mp3 player has to use ID3 tags, with the excepion of the iriver.
You can navigate through the songs by folder, like in windows explorer. You can choose a folder using the joystick, go up and down directories, and all that. Basically it is like using your arrow keys to move around in windows explorer, but with the joystick.
Ahhh, so I guess if you have your songs organized already, then it's pretty easy.
Sounds like an awesome system
Yes exactly, my songs are all organized very well that I don't need the ID3 tags. However if I turn that feature on, it's very easy to use as well. You can browse the entire HDD with genre, artist, album... blah blah blah, even though each song is in a different folder. I thought that was really neat.Quote:

Yeah that is a handy feature, I keep my leather case on at all times. Which came in very handy yesturday, I dropped the player for the first time.... and second time. But I was so surprised that the leather case can protect it so well. There was no noise from it hitting the ground, no scratches on the exposed parts, it was like dropping a diskette on the ground, it's so light that you know it can't hurt itself.
Yeah I really like using the file-tree method. I noticed that it loads much faster as well, which gives me more time to enjoy the tunes:)Quote:

Why'd u ditch the karma? And any pics?
I got kinda tired of the cheapy feel of the Karma. None of my sides lined up, and I didn't like the plasticky feel. Also, the screen was a concern since I was so anal about scratching it (even when changing screen protectors). It was mainly cosmetic issues. Plus, I had this warranty, the iRiver has a remote and leather case (2 things I REALLY wanted) and overall is built better.Quote:

Pics will come in a bit when I get something else in to complete v2.0 portable setup:)
Ooo, what's your v2.0 setup?
iHP-120 -> Maxed (and I mean maxed) out Zmoy in a Hammond case -> ER6's
I can't wait:) I think it could be the final release too!
So what is happening with your original Zmoy?
I thought that was maxed out already.
Well I have a disease, let's just leave it at that;)Quote:

Well, not that I want to further your disease :D , nor do I want to take business away from Zemo, but I found a portable amp that I am interested in and want some one like you to tell me how it is before I invest. You seem to be way into the amp, so here is what I found and from what I have read it looks AWESOME!!!Quote:

Here
If you or any one else is interested in checking this out, be sure to post a review. The amp seems like the sh!t, but I can't justify $160 for an amp when I enjoy non-amplified just fine and I don't know that I would personally appreciate the juiced up audio. Thanks man.
