I will rent both and buy whichever seems better.

It'll cost at least $10 to rent and try both of them, you could just pay double that and buy ESPN 2k5 :p. I'm just going to wait and see the reviews myself, it's hard to imagine Madden will be more than twice as good though.

Seriously at $20 it's a must buy.
